  • What types of graphics boards are supported?
There is no need to do this since we are not using any graphics card specific functions.
  • Can I use more than one at the same time in a virtual PC?
Please note that using multiple copies at the same time in any virtual PC is a violation of the license agreement.
  • I want to use the software both at work and at home, does this violate the license agreement?
There is no limit to the number of PCs on which the product can be installed. The product is licensed to the protector and can be used without any problems.
  • I would like to display an NC with a file size exceeding 100M Bytes.
Although it depends on the number of rows, the performance starts to decline when the number of bytes exceeds approximately 10M bytes. Since this has a significant impact on rendering speed, we recommend that you use less than 10M bytes.
  • When installed, it is blocked by firewall security.
Although products are checked for viruses in advance and electronic certificates are added, there are cases where misidentification occurs due to differences in security software versions and pattern matching capabilities. In that case, please temporarily lower the security level and try installing.
  • Why do I get frequent protector recognition errors?
If there is nothing wrong with the USB connector, it is possible that it has deteriorated over time, and replacement of the protector should be considered.
  • What if the protector is no longer recognized?
The response will vary depending on the error status. (1) Protected driver not installed. If this is the first time the product has been operated, it is possible that the product has not been installed properly. Check the supported OS. If the product was working properly, the protected driver may have been modified for some reason. Reinstall the product or reinstall the protect driver only. (2) Protector not connected. There is a possibility that the protector is disconnected from the PC or that the USB port cannot be recognized for some reason. If it is connected properly, check if the protector's lamp is lit. If the error occurs frequently, the protector may have deteriorated over time and should be replaced. (3) Protector could not be recognized. There is a possibility that a protector with a different license is connected. Please connect a correctly licensed protector. (4) Could not get information from protector. The protector may have been disconnected from the PC during use, or the USB port may not have been recognized for some reason. Check the Protector's connection status. If the error occurs frequently, the protector may have deteriorated over time and replacement of the protector should be considered.
  • My trial version has expired, can I extend the expiration date?
We are very sorry, but we cannot extend the deadline, so please consider purchasing the product.
  • Please tell me how to migrate to a new PC.
The following content will be explained on the assumption that you have NC Viewer that is compatible with the destination OS. (1) Copy the entire NC Viewer installation folder from the source PC to the destination PC. For migration, please copy using a flash drive, cloud storage, LAN, etc. (2) Install NC Viewer on the destination PC. For the installation folder, specify the folder copied from the source PC. (3) Connect the protector to the destination PC and start NC Viewer. Please confirm that the NC is displayed in the same state as the source PC.
  • Is it possible to easily change the font size of NC lists, etc.?
You can adjust the font size in real time by hovering over each control and rotating the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl key. The only controls that can be changed are "NC list", "report", "register list", and "display filter".
  • Does it support Windows dark mode?
You can switch to dark mode by selecting "Dark Mode" from "Properties" - "Theme" - "Theme Mode".
  • Can I open/close the NC list, etc.?
Double-clicking the spiriter of each control will switch the open/closed state.
  • Is there a way to easily switch between 4 screens and 1 screen other than the view tab?
Double-click the view to switch between 4 screens and 1 screen.
  • I would like to be able to prevent the projection direction (rotation) of the view from being changed using the mouse.
You can lock rotation by opening "Properties" - "Layout" - "View advanced settings" and checking "Prohibit rotation".
  • I would like to see the location of the NC file using Explorer.
    (1) Add the following information to "Properties" - "External App" - "Application List". Name: explorer Path: explorer.exe Argument: /select, "%1" (2) Open "Toolbar Customize" - "Favorite" from the right-click menu of the toolbar. (3) By adding "explorer" to "current toolbar button", you can call it from the toolbar.
  • Where can I find the current version?
You can check the version by right-clicking on the title bar and selecting "Version Information".
  • What if I want to use views as widely as possible?
You can free up work space in the view by hiding rarely used controls from the View menu.
  • I don't use the search bar in the NC list, so I would like to hide it.
You can hide the search bar by unchecking "Properties" - "NC List" - "Display Search Bar".
  • I would like to send NC to the machine.
If you have the NC sending/receiving software "NC Linker", you can transfer by selecting "File" - "Send with NC Linker".
  • I would like to edit NC.
If "Properties" - "External Apps" - "Text Editor" is set correctly or if Hidemaru Editor is installed, double-clicking the NC list will start the text editor and jump to the specified line. If Notepad is launched, it will not jump to the specified line.
  • If you edit it with Notepad and read it with NC Viewer, the characters will be garbled.
The default character code for Notepad in Windows 10 and later is UTF-8. Generally, NC needs to be saved as ANSI, so if you are using Notepad, change the character code to "ANSI" and save.
  • I would like to request remote support.
You can prepare for remote support by opening "Version Information" and clicking the "Remote Support" button. However, a separate contract may be required to receive remote support.
  • Does it support NC data with 3 or more decimal places?
Although it is compatible, the following settings need to be set appropriately according to the high precision NC. (1)"Machine properties" - "Scale" - "unit of Integer representation" (2)"Machine properties" - "Effective range" - "Arc tolerance"
  • There is a big difference between the machining time in the report and the actual machining time.
There may be multiple causes, so please check the following: (1) "Machine properties" - "Function code" - "Feed every minute, feed every time" modal (2) "Machine properties" - "Function code" - "Constant circumferential speed ON, constant circumferential speed OFF" modal (3) "Machine properties" - "Diameter correction" - "Correct the speed of circular cutting" (4) "Machine properties" - "Time calculation" - "Fast forward" (5) "Machine Properties" - "Time Calculation" - "Tool Change/Wire Connection" (6) "Machine properties" - "Time calculation" - "Calculate tap cycle by feed each time" (7) "Machine properties" - "Time calculation" - "Fast forward override" (8) "Machine properties" - "Time calculation" - "Cutting feed override" (9) "Tool properties" - "Diameter compensation number" - "Offset value"
  • Why am I getting a lot of errors saying "The end points of the arcs do not match"?
If the NC is able to process normally, a different machine may have been selected, so please check the following. (1) "Machine Properties" - "Machine Type" set to the appropriate machine? (2) "Machine Properties" - "Scale" set to an appropriate scale? (Pay particular attention to the X axis)
  • Why is my T number not recognized correctly?
Please check the following contents. (1) "Machine properties" - "Address character" - "Tool number" (2) "Machine properties" - "Mill/Lathe" - "Change tool only with T command"
  • Does it support custom macros?
We are very sorry, but this is not currently supported.
